How Film Room works

Tag the good moments in your games, add notes for each player, and send families a link that plays just their kid's clips. Free, nothing to sign up for.

  1. Put your games on YouTube.

Upload each game as Unlisted (not Private) and leave Allow embedding on. Add them all to one playlist, also Unlisted.

  2. Open them here.

Paste the playlist link in the box at the top and click Open. Every game shows up under Games.

  3. Add your roster.

Setup → one player per line, jersey number then name: 7 Ava.

  4. Tag while you watch.

Space plays. Press 1–6 to drop a tag. Enter adds a note; type #7 or #ava in it to tag a player. E ends a long clip. Set My player in Setup and 7 tags everything your own kid does. The Shortcuts panel has the rest.

  5. Share.

In Moments, pick a player and This game or All games, then Copy link. Anyone with the link can watch the clips back to back with Play reel; no account needed.

  6. Back up.

Your notes live only in this browser. Setup → Download backup now and then, and restore it to move to another computer.

Privacy

Nothing is stored on a server. Notes stay in your browser and inside the links you send. Unlisted videos can be watched by anyone who has the link, so share with your team, and check with families before posting clips anywhere public.

Tips

Tagging works best on a laptop; families can watch on phones. Keep it mostly positive: a few “Teach this” moments go a long way at this age.
